The Schroon Lake Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors a number of events throughout the year to help promote our local businesses directly and indirectly. The major chamber-sponsored events are below with some information on each. Also included below are document and forms related to each event.
Schroon Lake Opening Weekend - May 25, 2013
Our second annual opening weekend will include multiple components including a business expo in the Town Park, activities for all ages, music, restaurant specials, garage sales and much more.

4th of July Spectacular - July 4, 2013
An annual event for many years, Schroon Lake's Indepedence Day celebration is one of the biggest and best in the Adirondacks. Festivities begin at 11am and include bands and other entertainment in the Town Park, a parade on Main St. at 6:00 pm, and a patriotic concert at the beach followed by a spectacular fireworks display over Schroon Lake.
Labor Day Street Dance - August 31, 2013
Schroon Lake residents make one last spash before the end of the summer season by closing off Main Street for a family-fun street dance with a live band beginning at 7:00 pm.
Olde Tyme Christmas Celebration - December 7, 2013
Activities include the arrival of Santa, a Nativity Parade, musical concerts and other family activities.
Schroon Lake New Year's Eve - December 31, 2013
Activities include a family-friendly stage performance, sock-hop, food vendors, and a luminary display in the Town Park.
