Paddlers unite! It's time to kick off Summer with a new challenge, The Schroon Paddle Challenge!

Paddlers will drop their watercraft at the DEC Boat Launch on Rte 74, in Severance NY, then drive vehicles to the Schroon Lake Town Beach parking area. A bus will drive participants back to their boats to then paddle south on the river, into Schroon Lake and finish at the Town Boat Launch. Refreshments and music will be served in the Schroon Boat House, where more information about the Schroon Paddle Challenge will be available, as well as information about the sponsors of the Challenge, Schroon Lake Association, Schroon Chamber of Commerce, and ROOST.
