Schroon Lake Fish & Game Club Ice Fishing Derby

The Schroon Lake Fish & Game Club Ice Fishing Derby is a thrilling weekend of hard water adventures and friendly competition! 

Join us for the annual Schroon Lake Ice Fishing Derby, held the first full weekend of March. This event is open to all anglers looking to test their skills and reel in Lake Trout, Perch, Pickerel, Salmon, and Pike.

Fishing Hours:

  • Saturday at daylight through Sunday at 4 PM

Ticket Sales: Tickets will be available starting January 23rd at the following locations:

- Crossroads in Chestertown
- Flanagans Pub in Schroon Lake
- Timberwolf in Schroon Lake
- Fish307 in Lake George
- FMB Bait & Tackle in Port Henry
- SL Fish & Game Club House (every Friday after 5pm)

Ticket Deadline: Tickets are available until Wednesday, February 25th. 

AFTER WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4TH, Tickets will be available:
  • Flanagans on Friday, March 6th from 4-8pm.
  • The club house (address below) on Friday, March 6th from 12-9pm or Saturday March 7th from 6-10am.
  • No registrations will be accepted after 10AM on Saturday.

Mail-In entries must be received by March 4th:

  • Send a check payable to SL Fish and Game with the names and phone numbers of each participant.
  • Mail to: PO Box 725, Schroon Lake, NY 12870
  • Entries must be received by March 4th
