All artists welcome! Daily painting, design and lettering classes with professional artist Michelle Shain in the Rec Hall and on the porch overlooking Schroon Lake.

Monday Night Open Jam Sessions

Love to play an instrument? Out of practice or at the top of your form, doesn’t matter, it’s just for fun.

Every Monday night from June to October local music fans get together in the Boathouse to JAM. Start at 7pm and play till 10pm.

Everyone is welcome! Don’t play, that’s ok, Watchers are welcome too.

ADK 46-R: 100 Year Anniversary Celebration

The Adirondack Forty Sixers, Inc. is throwing a grand 100 year anniversary celebration in honor of the first three finishers and what would be the stage for all of us that followed.

On June 10th 1925, brothers George and Robert Marshall and their guide and friend Herbert Clark became the first finishers of the Adirondack 46 High Peaks. We celebrate 100 years since this date of the first finishers with a grand celebration filled with fun and educational events in recognition of their endeavors and the club's rich history.

Champlain Bridge 5K - 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Experience a scenic 5K cross-country course through trails, roads, and fields, guided by the powerful symbolism of the lighthouse as a beacon of HOPE and the bridge as a connection to education and support. This event raises awareness about online safety with the Prevention Team/Safe Harbour NY Essex County while encouraging personal connection and well-being through the NYS Parks Wellness Challenge: “Get Offline, Get Outside”.

There is a 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk option along the scenic 5K cross-country course to encourage family participation.
