The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) in coordination with North Country Community College will host the Ticonderoga Area Spring Job Career Fair on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. The event will take place at the North Country Community College Ticonderoga Campus located at 11 Hawkeye Trail in Ticonderoga, NY.

This job fair is free & open to the public. You can enter to win an array of door prizes for attending! Complimentary refreshments & food.

Sensory Friendly Day

For individuals and families who prefer a quiet, less stimulating environment

The Wild Center will be offering a sensory-friendly day. Sounds throughout the museum will be turned down and tactile, sensory-friendly activities will be available as well as designated quiet spaces.

Members Free; Adults $10, Youth $5, 4 & Under Free

Join the Interpretive Naturalist Intern Saturday, June 15th at 10am for the summer’s first Woodland Walk on the Rich Lake Trail in memory of AIC friend Elaine Schwartz. The Rich Lake trail is an easy 0.7-mile loop that winds through various habitats, including a raised boardwalk through a cedar swamp, and offers views of the Goodnow Fire Tower.

TR Weekend is Newcomb's premier event, celebrating Theodore Roosevelt's remarkable journey from the High Peaks wilderness to the White House after President McKinley’s assassination in Buffalo, NY. The event brings the community together to honor Roosevelt's legacy and experience the beauty of Newcomb and the Adirondacks.
